This is our ‘stress busting’ class! After a hard day or stressful week, there is nothing better than taking out your frustrations on the pads. This is a high intensity/ high calorie burning class consisting of Punching, Hooks, Uppercuts, Cross Elbows, Knees, Roundhouse and Front Kicks. Each class is different, and will sometimes also incorporate the use of free weights such as dumbbells and kettlebells. The truly fun way to a leaner body!
This is a fun shallow water class. Urban Aqua Fitness engages all your muscles using the water’s resistance. This helps to shape and tone your body, as well as keeping your heart rate up. It is gentle on your joints and bones and so is ideal for all fitness levels and ages including our Urban Mums and Mums to be.
A craze to hit the UK, and exclusive to Urban Energy, Skiptrix is a cardiovascular training program incorporating rope jumping and skipping skills, dynamic footwork patterns and aerobic rope tricks, marching patterns and sequences and powerful music. Skiptrix is a workout with a difference – it’s versatile and exciting, it’s funky and exhilarating… But most of all it’s FUN! Mixed with free weights in a circuit format, a great total body workout. Don’t panic if you aren’t the best skipper in the world – you can shadow skip as you learn!
Circuit training is the perfect solution for an all round workout – fun, varied, and packed with good stuff for your body. Fast paced but designed to accommodate beginners through to advanced levels. We use kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls, other fun and exciting toys, and good old body weight as well! We combine strength and toning with cardio, speed, and agility guaranteed to give you a great full body workout and to boost your energy levels.
