During pregnancy, your body undergoes significant changes. But just because you are pregnant, that doesn’t mean you should stop your regular fitness regime – in fact, a regular and adapted exercise program will help you get through pregnancy with minimal negative impact on your body.

Urban Prenatal will help you with maintaining a healthy weight gain, training your muscles for birth and recovery and keeping the blood flowing through your body. More than just a fitness program, Urban Prenatal will hep you learn to live with those changes. Nutrition advice will complete bespoke exercises to keep you in tip top shape before the arrival of your little one.

We offer personal training to our prenatal clients by qualified Pre/Post Natal Exercise Specialists, or you can join one of our Pre/Post Natal Classes.

POSTNATAL

Congratulations, you’re a new mum! Once you are over the initial shock of bringing your bundle of joy back home, you are slowly waking up to realise that your body needs a bit of a boost. Whilst we won’t let you succumb to the pressure of getting back into pre-pregnancy clothes too soon after birth, our Urban Postnatal program will help you work on regaining strength, muscle tone and energy and eventually your old shape.

You have a choice of personal training with a qualified Pre/Post Natal Exercise Specialist, or you can join one of our Pre/Post Natal Classes.

PRE/POST NATAL CLASSES

We have combined our prenatal and postnatal class into one class encompassing both!

Each class will include some low intensity cardio like power walking or gentle jogging along with exercises to strengthen and tone particular muscle groups. Each exercise has been designed to take into account your stage of pregnancy, your birth history and aims to maintain fitness levels during pregnancy, or ease you back into fitness, if you have already delivered, in a fun and interactive manner. If you are one of our  new mums, please feel free to bring baby with you!

It’s a great way to meet other new or expecting mums, share advice, stories and fitness success.
